We seek a Committee Chair and three members for a newly formed Social Networking Committee. The Social Networking Committee’s role would be to consider a broad range of social networking options for AP-LS (e.g., APA Communities, Facebook, Twitter, etc.), develop a proposal to establish one or more AP-LS social networks for Executive Committee review/approval, and to establish and maintain the networks once approved. Appointments will be made by November 11.
We seek members for the Nomination and Award Committee. Chaired by the Immediate Past President, the Nominations and Award Committee recommends candidates for various a prestigious awards and candidates to stand for election to Executive Committee positions. We seek a Chair and members for the Saleem Shah Award Committee. The Saleem Shah Award is co-sponsored by the American Psychology-Law Society and the American Board of Forensic Psychology. The award is for early career excellence and contributions to the field of psychology and law. The focus on the nominee’s contributions may be in any area of forensic practice, research, or public policy. Service on this committee requires a one-year commitment.
