The 2010 APA Presidential Task Force on Advancing Practice has issued this Call for Submissions (downloadable as a Word file). From the Call:
APA’s President-Elect, Carol D. Goodheart, Ed.D., has formed the Presidential Task Force on Advancing Practice (APTF), chaired by Karen M. Zager, Ph.D. An essential part of our mission is to develop innovative methods for psychologists to find and share clinical information and practice management tools, by creating and organizing web-based resources that will be available as a value-added benefit for APA members. An exciting “Wiki” platform will be piloted with members during 2010 and the task force is in the process of “seeding” the Wiki with materials of direct relevance and immediate practical use for clinicians in diverse spheres of practice. We hope that APA members, Divisions, STPAs and other organizations will be key sources of this material.
Please use the template at http://apacustomout.apa.org/PsycLink/default.aspx to submit appropriate resources for consideration. Resources can be in the form of PowerPoint presentations, documents, articles, books, pamphlets, spreadsheets, website links, etc. Please submit all resources by February 1, 2010 but earlier submissions are encouraged.
