Jacksonville Beach, one of the city of Jacksonville’s closest beaches is located on the Atlantic Ocean, just east of Jacksonville. In addition to sand and sun, the beaches also offer a variety of entertainment and special events. Jacksonville Beach also features restaurants, bars, golf courses, fishing piers, lodging options and Florida's famous A1A.

Little and Big Talbot Island State Parks
Hanna Park is a beach that features a water playground, camping, bike trails, and hiking trails. Admission is $1 per person or $3 per car. This beach access is about 35 minutes from the Hyatt downtown, click here for directions. .
Home of the Annual Kingfish Tournament, Jacksonville residents love to fish. With fresh and saltwater opportunities both in the same city, this is the town to experience some excellent fishing. There are a number of fishing charter companies in Jacksonville. You will need a fishing license to fish in Jacksonville, but most of the charter companies supply the licenses and all of the gear.
