HOTEL INFORMATION
The conference hotel is the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront is located in the heart of downtown Jacksonville. The Hyatt is located on the North shore of the St. Johns River and about one block east of the Jacksonville Landing.
***Our initial block of rooms at the conference hotel sold out. We were recently (on January 25th) able to add a small number of rooms at a slightly higher rate ($169 per night). If you act quickly and call the Hyatt reservation line at 1-800-233-1234, you may be able to make or change your reservations at this new rate
Conference rates are $131 for single and double-occupancy rooms, $156 for triple, and $181 for quad-occupancy. Clicking on the hotel link should take you directly to the hotel reservation web site.
AP-LS has a small block of rooms at the Wyndham Jacksonville Riverwalk (across the River from the Hyatt), held for March 4 - March 10, 2008. Single/Double occupancy rate of $139 per room. This rate is guaranteed until Feb 3, 2008. To reserve a room, call 904-396-5100 (Toll Free 866-845-8862), and identify yourself as a member of the American Psychology-Law Society. You must reserve by February 3rd in order to get this reduced rate.

Transportation
Getting to the Hyatt Regency Riverfront from
the airport
The Jacksonville airport (JAX) is approximately 15
miles from the Hyatt and will take about 25 to 30
minutes if you are not arriving during busy
traffic times. The Express Shuttle (904-353-8880
or 1-800-394-0226) is $32.50 one way, one person
to/from the Hyatt. A taxi will be approximately
$30-35 one way to/from the Hyatt. Rental cars are
also available at the airport and there is a Hertz
counter in the hotel lobby.
Getting to the Hyatt Regency Riverfront by car
The Hyatt is located at 225 E Coastline Drive. A
few road construction projects near the hotel are
being completed at this time. If you plan to drive
to the hotel, please use a
mapping service or GPS and check the road
conditions on a site like
this one. The Hyatt's
web page also provides driving directions to
the hotel. Also to note, if you plan to drive to
the hotel on Saturday morning, some of the roads
will be closed because of the Gate River Run and
you should check
their web
site for specific road closures.
Parking
At the hotel: The Hyatt Regency offers overnight
and valet parking. Hotel guests can access the
hotel from the parking deck using their room key
after validating the parking with the Front Desk.
The entrance to the garage is located off Newnan
Street, which is directly west of the hotel. The
following rates apply at the time of inquiry, but
are subject to change: Overnight self-parking:
$12.00 per day; Valet parking: $15.00 per day.
Near the hotel: A few other parking garages and
parking lots are located near the hotel, check out
the web site provided by
Downtown Jacksonville.
