HOTEL INFORMATION
The 2009 AP-LS conference hotel is the Crowne Plaza Riverwalk (CLICK HERE). Located in downtown San Antonio, the Crowne Plaza is situated directly on the north side of the riverwalk. The hotel offers direct access to this famous 3-mile cobbled river level promenade which is lined with restaurants, shops and entertainment (http://www.thesanantonioriverwalk.com). The hotel is within walking distance to the Alamo and provides easy access to many other local attractions.
CONFERENCE RATES AND REGISTRATION
Conference rates are $154 for single and double-occupancy rooms, $164 for triple-occupancy, and $174 for quad-occupancy. This rate is guaranteed until February 11, 2009. Reservations made after this date will be accepted on a space available basis and at regular rates.

Alternatively, phone reservations can be made at (210) 775-6895 or toll free at (800) 2CROWNE (227-6963). When making phone reservations, identify yourself as a member of the American Psychology-Law Society in order to access the conference rate. All internet or phone reservations must be made by February 11, 2009 in order to receive the conference rate.
STUDENT ROOM MATCH SERVICE (UPDATED 11.11.08)
Attention Student Conference Attendees: As in the past, the Student Section will again be providing a room-match service for this year's conference. In an effort to decrease students' conference costs, we will be providing you with assistance to find a roommate for your stay in San Antonio.

Note: Although we will facilitate a match with a roommate, **you will be responsible for making your own hotel reservations**. We will work on a 'rolling basis' and will continue to provide matches as long as there are interested parties.
TRANSPORTATIONGetting to the Crowne Plaza from the Airport
The Crowne Plaza Riverwalk is approximately 10 miles from the San Antonio International Airport. Ground transportation information can be accessed HERE or by calling (210) 207-3411. The website provides links for car rentals, downtown shuttle service and taxis. Shuttle service via SATRANS Airport Express (Click Here) is $18 one way to all San Antonio downtown hotels. Taxis are available outside of baggage claim at Terminals 1 and 2. Average fares to the San Antonio downtown area is approximately $20 to $22 per cab (up to 4 may share a cab) with an average drive time of 15 minutes.

Parking
Parking is available at the Crowne Plaza. Rates are $23.75 per day for self parking and $28.00 per day for valet. Daily rates include “in and out” privileges for guests of the hotel.
