The Chicago School of Professional Psychology: Department of Forensic Psychology is seeking an outstanding practitioner-scholar for full-time faculty appointment (half-time appointment will be considered) to begin in January 2010.  Successful candidates must have a doctoral degree in psychology, a proven track record of clinical forensic experience, graduate-level teaching, and scholarship.  Candidates must be able to demonstrate ongoing professional activity and scholarship and the ability to involve students in their program of scholarship.  Preference will be given to candidates with the ability to teach in the areas of Cognitive & Affective Bases of Behavior, Treatment of the Adult Offender, Psychopathology: Child & Adolescent, History & Family Psychology, Social Bases of Behavior, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Forensic Psychology Civil & Probate, Family Law, Child Forensic Assessment & Interviewing, Parents & Couples Therapy, and/or Therapy Practicum.  Furthermore, the newly developed Forensic Center offers faculty the opportunity to engage in a wide array of community initiatives, including recidivism reduction, family reunification, policy advocacy, and program evaluation.
