Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track)

The University of Houston-Victoria (UHV) invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor of Psychology position. Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology required. Experience as a counseling or clinical psychologist preferred. Candidate must possess or qualify for the Texas license. The position requires teaching graduate courses in the counseling psychology master's program as well as the undergraduate psychology program. Ability to teach graduate psychological assessment courses and to supervise psychology practicum students is a plus. Training and/or experience in forensic psychology is desirable but not required. The successful applicant will be an integral member of the psychology department including participation in the school psychology and forensic psychology graduate programs if needed. Evidence of scholarly activity is important. The successful candidate will start in the fall of 2011. Summer teaching is normally available at attractive rates.
