 MRAC is currently seeking applicants to fill the position of Research Scientist.

Position Description:  Working in a team setting to accomplish a high-profile project on security screening and credibility assessment for the Department of Homeland Security.

Main responsibilities:  Developing theoretical guidance for applied research projects.  Developing complex protocols.  Managing IRB reviews.  Directing staff on recruitment and running participants.  Working closely with clients and team members from various disciplines.  Analyzing results and preparing final documents for clients.

Required profile:  Ph.D. in psychology with an emphasis on research skills, behavioral analysis, and statistical knowledge.  Background in statistics, psychophysiology, deception detection, or educing information a plus.

Personal requirements:  Excellent people skills and a demonstrated ability to work with a range of personalities.  Good organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills, especially under pressure.  Strong project management skills.  Accomplished writing skills.

The Research Scientist will be working directly under Dr. Daniel Martin, Ph.D., ABPP, a clinical psychologist on the faculty at Yale University.  His current research laboratory is located in Kendall Square, Cambridge, MA.  The research conducted in the laboratory is innovative and of national significance.
