PSYCHOLOGIST - Springfield Hospital Center, a State of Maryland psychiatric facility in beautiful Carroll County, MD, is accepting applications for Psychologists in Forensic Services and our Acute Care Program.
Eligible candidates must hold an active Maryland license in Psychology. Responsibilities and experience requirements vary, depending on the specific classification.
Forensic Services position responsibilities include pretrial evaluations of competency to stand trial and criminal responsibility, treatment for competency restoration and community re-entry, risk assessments, and participation in hearings and criminal trials. Acute Care position responsibilities include provision of therapy, testing and plan of care development, working within a treatment team from diverse disciplines. Psychology Associate, Doctorate with completion of APA approved internship will be considered.
