The University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS) anticipates an opening for a full-time psychologist to provide forensic evaluations for the Department of Mental Health, predominantly in Western Massachusetts. Candidate must: have a Doctoral degree in Psychology; be Licensed as a Psychologist Health Service Provider, or have completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Forensic Psychology approved by the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health; be Certified as a Designated Forensic Psychologist by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or evidence of comparable forensic training in another jurisdiction; and must have specific experience conducting violence risk assessments, including assessments of individuals with histories of sexual offending. Position includes UMMS benefits. Faculty appointment commensurate with qualifications and experience.
