The University of Washington and Child Study & Treatment Center (CSTC) invite applications for a one-year, postdoctoral fellowship in juvenile forensic psychology and adolescent inpatient treatment. CSTC is the state psychiatric hospital for children in Washington and the designated provider of juvenile forensic mental health service for all counties. Training in pre-adjudication evaluations for the juvenile courts includes producing clinical and forensic opinions in written reports and providing occasional testimony as needed. Fellows participate in didactic seminars surveying the fields of forensic and developmental psychology. Training with adolescent inpatients includes individual, group and family therapies grounded in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Support is also available to fellows for scholarly research activities and professional education. A competitive stipend of approximately $38,000 will be offered, along with generous benefits. Candidates with a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited doctoral Program who have completed an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship will be considered.
