Forensic Psychologist

The Juvenile Court Clinic of Cook County seeks to hire one full-time and two part-time licensed psychologists (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) to fill the following positions: Child Protection Clinician to conduct court ordered evaluations of parents and children involved with the child welfare system (e.g., parenting capacity, termination of parental rights). Ideal candidates should have experience working with this population, strong assessment/interviewing skills, excellent writing skills, and knowledge of child development and parenting issues. Juvenile Justice Clinician to conduct court ordered evaluations of juveniles involved in delinquency proceedings (e.g., sentencing, fitness, miranda). Ideal candidates should have specialized forensic training, experience working with adolescents and an urban population, strong assessment/interviewing skills, excellent writing skills, and knowledge of adolescent development.
